From the very beginning, JUWEL was built around a simple but revolutionary idea: an aquarium should be more than a glass box. The company pioneered the concept of the complete aquarium system, developing aquariums alongside the technology needed to successfully operate them. By bringing the aquarium, filtration, lighting and heating together as perfectly matched components, JUWEL created a system that made keeping an aquarium simpler, more reliable and more accessible.

Today, the company continues to manufacture its aquariums in Rotenburg/Wümme, Germany, using modern, robot-supported production technology alongside rigorous quality standards.
