One of the company's most significant achievements came in 2007, when NT Labs became the first UK manufacturer to receive a Veterinary Medicines Directorate (VMD) licence for Small Animal Medicines, with licence number SAM0001. This marked a major milestone for the company and reflected its ability to manufacture veterinary medicines for ornamental fish while meeting the stringent standards required by the VMD.

Importantly, NT Labs manages its medicine production in-house rather than outsourcing this process. This gives the company greater control over manufacturing, quality and consistency, while ensuring its products are produced in accordance with the demanding requirements expected of veterinary medicines. The company's commitment to quality is further demonstrated through its compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.
